CEO & MD
Nakul Jain is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wadhwani AI Global, where he leads the organization’s mission to harness artificial intelligence for social good at scale. With over 15 years of leadership experience across technology, product management, and consulting, he has overseen the design and delivery of 40+ products that have advanced healthcare, agriculture, and education across the Global South. His work has enabled innovations to reach over 100 million people, while driving multi-country programs and large-scale technology services engagements. A seasoned leader across global enterprises, startups, and impact organizations, Nakul brings together entrepreneurial vision, engineering depth, and strategic partnerships to transform bold ideas into solutions that strengthen public systems worldwide.
Head of Growth
Harsh Singh is the Head of Growth at Wadhwani AI Global, where he leads the organization’s expansion across Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia through strategic collaborations with governments, multilaterals, and global partners. With over a decade of experience in consulting, strategy, and social impact, he has focused on scaling transformative solutions in public health, education, and agriculture. Previously, Harsh was part of BCG’s Social Impact Practice and held senior strategy roles at Central Square Foundation, where he built a strong track record in driving growth, forging partnerships, and shaping ecosystems to deliver large-scale, sustainable impact.
Head – Marketing, Branding and Communications
Gitika is a seasoned corporate communications and public relations professional with over 15 years of experience driving strategic visibility, stakeholder engagement, and business growth. She has a proven track record of advising senior leadership, navigating complex matrix structures, and collaborating with global project teams to deliver impactful results.
At Wadhwani AI, Gitika leads strategic communications to amplify the organization’s mission of applying artificial intelligence for social good. Her work focuses on building global brand visibility, shaping thought leadership, and strengthening engagement with governments, donors, and multilateral platforms.
Lead Engineer
Aakash Pant is an engineering professional with over 7 years of experience designing and scaling distributed systems and AI-driven platforms. Since 2020, he has led the development of cloud-native infrastructure and digital health solutions at Wadhwani AI, including multi-cloud migrations, MLOps pipelines, and large-scale conversational AI systems that enable millions of daily interactions in public health programs. As Lead Software Engineer at Wadhwani AI Global, he focuses on transforming research into robust, cost-efficient solutions that strengthen public systems and deliver impact in underserved communities.
Chief of Staff
John Michael is the Chief of Staff at Wadhwani AI Global, where he drives culture-building and operational excellence to strengthen leadership alignment and organizational efficiency. With a Master’s in Hospitality Administration specializing in HR, John has developed expertise in strategic planning, board governance and communication, compliance, and people-centered operations. Since joining Wadhwani AI, he has progressed through roles supporting the CEO, Chief Scientist, and senior leadership, building a strong foundation in governance and cross-functional coordination. As Chief of Staff, he acts as a strategic partner to leadership, streamlining decision-making, enabling collaboration across teams, and ensuring priorities translate into execution. He works to advancing Wadhwani AI Global’s mission of People First AI by aligning strategy, governance, and culture to organizational goals.
AI Transformation Lead
Mili Budhiraja is the AI Transformation Lead at Wadhwani AI Global, working towards making technology inclusive, accessible, and intersectional. She holds over 3 years of experience in the development sector where she has led AI-powered healthcare programmes with the India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, served as the Chief of Party for a USAID-funded AI initiative to preserve the cultural heritage of a marginalized diaspora, played a key role in the development of India’s Digital Public Good for Language Stack, and contributed to the ambitious IndiaAI Mission. She is now a part of a mission-driven team at Wadhwani AI Global where she is contributing to build people first AI solutions.
AI Transformation Lead
Kanishk Pant is an AI Transformation Lead at Wadhwani AI Global, where he builds and scales AI solutions for social good across health, education, and agriculture. With over a decade of experience, he has led the development of computer vision–based healthcare AI with India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as well as AI-driven solutions for higher education with the Ministry of Education. He has also worked with governments to scale large foundational literacy and numeracy programs, drawing on his early experience as a Gandhi Fellow teaching in under-resourced tribal schools—an experience that grounds his ability to combine last-mile intuition with technological expertise to deliver impact at scale.
AI Transformation Lead
Prasaanth is a product leader with over 8 years of experience in driving AI and digital health solutions. Since 2018, he has led the design and deployment of AI products for Tuberculosis and Maternal Health in collaboration with governments and global health organizations. As AI Transformation Lead at Wadhwani AI Global, he focuses on translating research into scalable solutions that strengthen health systems and deliver impact in underserved communities.
